PARK(ing) Day – Minneapolis MN

PARK(ing) day is an event that began in San Francisco by an art collective (REBAR). It is a day where artists, architects, landscape architests, activists and citizens are invited to transform a parking space into a public park space. We (Phillips Garden) took part in this event last year 2007 and with any luck we will do it again this year. The images below show Phillips Garden’s park(ing) space. Enjoy!
